We all have a past, some of us love to walk down memory lane and tell our stories, while others still live in the past. When a story of the past brings you sweet joy and gratitude at this moment, that is a gift to be embraced. You feel grateful for what brought you in the here and now, and a jog down memory lane is just that, a quick run, you don't live there anymore.
Unfortunately for some, their lives are based on what was, what happened and letting go of their past can be painful and challenging, all brought on by the thoughts they are thinking.
When we live, our lives rooted in what was; we rob ourselves of 'living fully' in 'what is' happening now. Life unfolds in the present time. Bonding with our current moments is where we can feel and be fully alive.
Be mindful of where your thoughts go and how they make you feel. Create experiences that can bring us peace, joy, and equanimity.
Gratitude is the honoring of the 'Right Now moment.' Be here now! Dolby Dharma
“It's here now that's important. There's no past, and there's no future. Time is a very misleading thing. All there is ever is the now. We can gain experience from the past, but we can't relive it, and we can hope for the future, but we don't know if there is one.”
