"Life Altering Healings"
Day Eleven of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute challenge: Generosity and Kindness.
I invite you today to see where you can give and show more generosity and kindness in your life to yourself and others.
How do I define generosity? It has the qualities of a kind, gentle, giving spirit, and an untouchable fearlessness. It is doing for yourself and others without expectation of getting something back.
Generous people can be fearless, selfless and have a generous concern for others well-being, as well as their own.
Trust- there is no fear there will be nothing in it for them.
Gratitude- there is nothing more giving then feeling a sense of "Thanksgiving" in your heart.
Giving- opens the heart to joy and equanimity, something happens to us when we give to others, we can feel a sense of having it all and wanting to share.
This list can go on and on with the feelings and mindset of having a generous spirit.
Generosity rarely happens by chance. It is an 'intentional decision' we make in our lives, it is the innate feeling of an open-heart and fearlessness.
BUT, we first must have this generosity for ourselves to give in healthy ways. Today take the five-minute challenge and see where you can be generous. Maybe it just begins with YOU first. That is a great place to start. Dolby Dharma
Today’s Affirmation: I Am, Fearless. “Giving Is Living”
“Be a gift to everyone who enters your life, and to everyone whose life you enter. Be careful not to enter another’s life if you cannot be a gift. (You can always be a gift because you always are the gift — yet sometimes you don’t let yourself know that.)” ~Neale Donald Walsch, Conversations With God: An Uncommon Dialogue, Vol.2
