A Mothers love

A Mothers love
Mothers day is coming up, but the truth is, "EVERY DAY" is mothers day.

As mothers, the very first item we think of before the baby comes home is what to wrap the baby in.

Blankets are VERY significant. We love to give them to our babies.

WHY? They represent so many things, they offer love, security, connection but most of all it is something to cuddle with to help the baby fall asleep. Babies wake-up in the middle of the night, and root around for their blanket, once they find it they snuggle up with it, sometimes they rub it on their faces to inhale the scent that has accumulated over time.

How many times have you seen a kid hanging onto their best blanket? Blankets have a ton of 'magic' in them, magic that the kid has infused into it, that is how the blanket and baby bond, by divine design. Pretty cool how the universal of humans function.

With our bonding blanket you don't have to worry about getting tangled up, or having a problem, they are just the right size 16 X 16.

That being said MOMS, What goes around comes around, now our children are adults, with moms day around the corner it is a GREAT opportunity to pass the love back to moms. We are suggesting a bonding blanket.

When we started this business venture we initially intended this to be ALL about baby love, but the truth is, we sell more to adults who pass the love on to others for many reasons. (see other blogs)

With Mothers day around the corner, I can't think of a MOM who would not LOVE to receive this bonding blanket from their adult child...

I know we would love that from our children.

So here is our suggestions on how to present this bonding blanket to your MOM or grandma, or whoever you feel has been like a mom to you. We all know someone whose mommy wasn't the mommy they had hoped for, so they found another mom, they called mom.

The bonding blanket is ready to give if you order  one for mothers day we will INCLUDE a FREE voice recordable LOVE card that you can say 'I love you mom' in 12 seconds....LOL  It is a $5.95 value...Order must be received by May 4 2015  to ensure delivery. BY THE WAY MOTHERS DAY IS MAY 10TH.

When you receive your bonding blanket, it is ready to present to your favorite person. It comes wrapped with a beautiful red satin ribbon, wrapped in tissue.

This beautiful card comes attached to the bonding blanket as well.

This is the beautiful recordable voice card, press record and say, "I love you."

Attitude is EVERYTHING....

This is me Ellie...Having so much fun with this story!

My husband who has a very strong presence, has white hair, mustache, and a beard... When he is in a picture, his features blend into a white glow, almost a blur...

I suggested, Ha Ha, not really,  , "I want to make your eyebrows darker so when we take pictures your handsome face has definition".

This should have been a no-brainer for me.  By-the-way, I am an aesthetician, I tint woman's and men's eyebrows, and lashes in my studio...

I use the real stuff...

I know how my product works, I'll tell you it takes a lot longer than 5 minutes to grab the color, more like 20-25 minutes'.

I bought a product called, 'just for men', that is supposed to enhance the eyebrows, mustache, and beard. It takes 5 minutes and they say to use a timer, I did that, I did not leave it a minute longer.

I chose a medium brown. I knew black was out of the question...
They did not have blonde which would have been the smarter choice.

It comes with a brush, you mix two products together, apply to the area to be darkened, and wait... I applied some on his eyebrows, a little above his sideburns... and set the timer...

When I removed the tint with warm water using round cotton pads, his eyebrows were scary dark.

They weren't kidding when they said 5 minutes...

At this point I am sick to my stomach, the area above his sideburns now looked like he had on black earmuffs.

OH MY Gosh!!!! What have I done...I think he noticed...The look on my face that something went wrong...

He looked like the director, Martin Scorsese who has white hair and very dark eyebrows.  Not very attractive...

No matter how much I wiped his eyebrows,  they were not getting any lighter...

When all else fails 'READ THE DIRECTIONS'....LOL

That is just what I decided to do after the fact.

The directions; to lighten the dark brows,  you have to mix hydrogen peroxide and shampoo to get the brows lighter.

My husband took it like a man...

Part of me wanted to laugh and part of me wanted to hide...

I made sure the look on my face did not alarm him too much.

He got out his Lava soap instead of shampoo, which is a strong mechanic soap, mixed it with the peroxide, hoping to lighten it immediately, it wasn't doing the job quick enough.

I apologized for experimenting on him, and that he has to live with the consequence of my goof up(s).

I said to him, "I am only trying to keep us looking good", not that he cares, he just loves me.

I called him the next day from work to see if anyone made a comment, regarding his dark brows. "NO!!!  not one person", he said.

Oh, I was so relieved,  still hoping it will fade quickly. He did continue to say, "no one said anything because I put a brown paper bag on my head, made 2 holes for my eyes", in fact, he went on to say, he put two bags in case the first one blew off.  LOL

This beautiful man said to me "I feel like you are a little girl and you are playing with me like a little doll".  I am pretty sure most wives usually have an opinion on what her man should wear or look like.

I just took it a step further, with my expertise in coloring brows and lashes.  Oh, by the way, my husband said, "I can't wait until you decide that you like what I look like".

After all is said and done, I asked my girlfriend if she noticed anything different about Dewain, she said with a question, "did he shave his beard"?

My husband could have responded differently to this whole botched up color job, but no, he is secure in who he is, it is me who is doing all the changing.  Let's face it, he is used to me, he should know who I am by now.  By the way, we just celebrated 50 beautiful years together...

Next week I am going to convince him to spike his hair!

OH by the way, I convinced my darling husband he needed bonding blanket infused with all my love, this way, he won't forget the gal who plays with him....LOL

Big girls don't cry... They just receive a Bonding Blanket
This story is so dear to me.
My BFF wanted to have her teeth fixed so bad for many years, it always seemed so out of reach for her. We talked about it all the time, she would feel down, and I would lift her up with optimism, saying, 'you will have teeth baby'.
She would say I was always so optimistic about it, only because it was hard for her to see how getting there would look.
Together we took baby steps, and of course it happened, the appointments, the lay-out of the procedure, and a Dentist she liked and trusted.
After all the diagnosing, financing were all done, it was time to schedule the appointment to get this job done. She set up her time, and much to her surprise, it was going to be a 4 hour surgery to get EVERYTHING done, she needed, crowns, root canals, fillings, etc; I was BLOWN away, and so was she. My friend has sensitive teeth to begin with, now she was about to embark upon 4 hours of what I would call 'Torture'. I was not sure how all this was truly going to pan out, after all, how much drilling can a gal take, not to mention having your mouth open for 4 hours.
Up until the appointed day, she was worried about the whole procedure. Not to mention that morning.

I could not be with her on that morning, her BF was taking her, they were going to come to me after, so I could care for her.
The next best thing I could think to offer her support and comfort, was to present her with one of our bonding blankets. I told her I would infuse my love and energy into it, give it to her, and she would know I was with her in spirit. She loved the idea, the day before we were hanging out, she asked me to wear this bonding blanket on my person, so that she could smell my scent (which she loves), and know that my energy was truly in that blanket. I did just that...
All day long, everywhere we went, I had that blanket, stuffed in my shirt...LOL....What a crazy sight to see, this blanket coming out of my top was noticeable. We went everywhere that day, shopping, lunch etc;. People stopped to ask me what it was all about. I just said, 'I am infusing my love into this blanket so my GF will have something tangible to take with her to the dentist office'. What a great idea were the many responses...

It truly was...

The surgery came and went, my GF got her NEW beautiful smile, her mouth is now healthy, and to top it off, she loves her bonding blanket so much, she sleeps with it every night.

No words...

No words…..
This is one of many blogs to come, we have so many touching stories how people use this little bonding blanket.
Shelly who lives in Los Angeles, bought a bonding blanket for her high school friend Adel who lives in Arizona. Shelly and Adel go way back, ‘High School days’, they have had a beautiful long distant friendship.
Adel has always had a very serious problem with back pain since High School. She had been in and out of hospitals most of her life but this trip brough her in for an infection she contracted after having an infusion in her back… They tried to clear up the infection, so they could do surgery, but she became so weak they had to put off…

What she was experiencing was a mystery to all the Doctors.
Adel went from pain in her back, to being so weak she could barely speak. The area where the Doctors worked on would not heal, and she now had an open wound, this was not looking too good. .
She became paralyzed from the waist down, on top of everything else they now had to intubate (breathing tube into the trachea for mechanical ventilation) her so she could breathe…
Adel’s husband was so great at writing long lengthy emails to let everyone know what was happening with Adel and what she was going through.
She was now being moved to different departments for rehabilitation. It was a very slow process.
Shelly wanted to do something for her friend, something to let her know she cared for her, and being so far away she knew a card would not be enough.

She wanted to send some comfort to Adel as she was being transferred to different facilities for her care.
Shelly called Adel’s husband to get an idea as to what she might send, he said, “no” to flowers, there is just not enough room for any more gifts... Shelly had remembered ‘the bonding blanket’ that a friend had bought for someone else.
She called Bruce to ask him if he thought a small little blanket, infused with Shelly’s prayers, and love would be ok, and he said, “yes”.

Shelly really believed in the concept behind this little bonding blanket, at least it was something Adel could have 24/7, and could reach for it whenever she felt frightened and lonely. Her husband said, she was transferred to many facilities, and that she kept the bonding blanket with her, holding out for some hope and comfort. Unfortunately, Adel was spiraling downhill, she could not breath, infections were setting in, and it was not good.

Her recovery was just not going in the direction everyone had hoped for...Adel passed away 8 months later.

The gift of unquestioned acceptance
Accept everyone as a valuable human being. Show those around you that they are loved for who they are, not for what they do or how much they please you. See the Divine in everyone.

Out of the mouth of babes....

By the way-I am Ellie… I am so blessed to be involved in many of my client’s lives.  I have a facial studio which I do body waxing, facials and great listening. This allows me to visit with my Ladies, get to know them all the while supporting them in life’s challenges.  Audrey bought a blanket from me to cuddle up and infuse her love into this bonding blanket while she awaits the arrival of her second grandchild, to pass on her love.

Well that didn't happen….. Her first born was staying the night, his mom and dad forgot to pack his favorite lamp which shines on the ceiling…He needs this so he can fall asleep.. He was so restless and without his ceiling light sleep did not come easy for him, therefore he laid awake, and couldn't sleep. Oh…. By the way, he is only 4 years old..

Audrey remembered the blanket she was holding onto for the new baby. She brought the bonding into his room which was wrapped in a gift bag, you have to understand the bonding blanket is very very soft, supportive and you can cuddle with it…  ’Grandma said to her grandson, in this bag is a magical blanket, when you hold onto it all your problems will go away, and will become very sleepy..  He did just that....He magically settled down into the night and without the night light. The bonding blanket was all he needed to focus on!

This 4 year old says to his mom the next day, “Mommy touch this blanket and all your problem will go away”.  I don’t know if she has problems or not, but this little boy GOT IT.

Out of the mouth of babes comes to wisdom of kids beyond their years!

Jax as a young baby...

Now pass the love on.

What do BIG boys really want?

Mother knows best. They really do.  Just ask a 45 year old male if mother knows best and you will get a variety of answers. I am speaking about my Son, whom I am very proud of. This Mother looks deep into her Child's heart and finds a Strong sensitive man with a flawless character. Anyone who knows him would probably not have a clue at how sensitive he really is. He is a Sag and an Aftra member, he is always called back to portray the tough guys.

I decided to mail a bonding blanket to him. I chose the camouflage pattern as a gift for him. And not the pink with white dimples. Ya think that was a good decision? HA HA! Of course I wrote a note letting him know that he is loved and what a beautiful young man he has grown into.

I believe we are never too old to have someone tell us how important we are to them. I just sent a bonding blanket instead of a card. Hey dont laugh the blanket comes in handy. Trust me there are several uses for this small gift of love.
Do your shoulders get cold when you turn over at night when the blanket is not up around your neck? Put it on your shoulder for a little warmth. Want to sleep in, it now becomes a sleep mask when the early morning sun comes shinning in.

I just have to say, my son accepted it like a MAN, a man who is NOT too old to snuggle up with a piece of love.  He gets it!

NOW PASS ON THE LOVE.

A Divorced Bonding

This is a story about a little boy named Erin, who is about to leave the only world he knows, and be introduced (not by his choice) to another lifestye.

His mother shared her concern(s) with me regarding Erin, who is having a hard time being separated from what is familiar to him-unfortunately this is not an uncommon story. Divorce!!!!!

He is now having to go between two homes, his daddy who does not live with him anymore and his mom whom he lives with.

As I listened to this heartbreaking story I suggested she give him a bonding blanket, I told her when he holds it, or looks at it, he will be reminded of his mom's love that she poured into the bonding blanket just for him. He would always have a little bit of his mom with him when he left to go stay with his dad, and it was something he could take with him always.

When I was speaking to his mom about having her love poured into the bonding blanket. This darling boy was in another room, and unbeknown-st to us he was actually listening to our conversation.

Ha!    And, we think our kids don't listen.

This 7-year-old GOT IT!. Erin told his mom, "I love you mommy," and I want to give YOU a bonding blanket. We were both astounded that he understood. I had to video the special moment.

The video is Erin bonding with his mom. The Bonding blanket has done its magic. Connecting a mom and a child, and making his life feel a little more connected, when they were apart.

We all know someone who could use a little love. You too can share in this beautiful act of love. The Bonding Blanket
