Don't Monkey around!

Don't monkey around!

"Some think love can be measured by the amount of butterflies in their tummy.  Others think love can be measured in bunches of flowers, or by using the words ‘forever’.  But love can only truly be measured by actions.  It can be a small thing, such as peeling an orange for a person you love because you know they don’t like doing it."

"The Shape of the Universe"

"The Shape of the Universe"

Searching for love, searching for answers, searching for truth, knowledge, and understanding. We are all born seekers, looking for a place to plant ourselves, to feel grounded, nourished and fed. The problem is we forget that home is not an external grounding for the love and nourishments we crave. Our roots are within, the life force that illuminates from the inside out.

We are like a beautiful tree that bears a unique fruit, the fruit that stores all the wisdom and nourishments that make us who we are.
We are given 'free will' to choose ourselves, trust ourselves and stay grounded within ourselves. To feel that groundedness is to find your balance.

Your life belongs to you, and it is important to honor the wholeness that you already are. Nourish yourself and know you are complete just being with you, everything and everyone is just a compliment to your life. When you feel rooted within an amazing event takes place; 'Everywhere you go there you are;' HOME. Know your own significance. You are valuable. You are entitled to experience the Universe in you. Lucky Friday the 13th

Image may contain: sky, outdoor, water and nature

Full Moon Cancer, Lucky Friday the 13th. Take advantage of the so-called "Bad Luck Day." Celebrate the day other's are superstitious about go out and buy yourself a lottery ticket.
Make this your lucky day, break out all your good luck pieces and put them to work! Wish everyone a Happy Lucky Day.
Spend the day thinking about how damn lucky you are. Count your blessings, when you are out and about, give a Thank-You Universe shout out.
Turn the unlucky Friday the 13th into your lucky day! Remind yourself just how lucky you are!
Let us be grateful for all the little holidays that bring us into consciousness, and all the miraculousness that comes from them!
Do you feel lucky?

"You may be Right!"

"You may be Right!"
Mindfulness, how do we achieve it, after all, aren't we thinking all day long, are we not aware of our minds and our thoughts? NO, our minds are constantly streaming incoming events all day long and most of them we are NOT aware of. Autopilot can be a fantastic feature, but also a dangerous one too, especially if we are reacting first.
Let us awaken to not only being aware but being aware of the awareness.
Let's practice being aware of what flies out of our mouths, what flows into our minds and what cultivates our hearts. Most of us tend to react to life instead of taking it in first and then possibly respond. Sometimes the only response needed is; "You may be right". We are all in this together, like it or not! Dolby Dharma
"I continue to cultivate loving connections, being compassionate and kind whenever people, myself included, choose to speak negative words, for we all do from time to time. We are positively connected in this negativity thing, and everything else. Let compassion, kindness, and love unite us all. So, it is!" ~Tiny Buddha

R-E-S-P-E-C-T

R-E-S-P-E-C-T yourself
We have all heard the saying, how people treat you is often a reflection of how you treat yourself.
To honor yourself and others is to revere it, to show courteous regard, and also to hold ourselves in high respect.
When we are not saying 'NO' when we mean yes we are disrespecting ourselves and the other.
When we don't honor our bodies, our thoughts, actions, and spirit we are disrespecting ourselves and the other.
Each of us is guilty of showing disrespect at one time or another to someone else and ourselves.
Let's practice being more mindful of our thoughts, beliefs, ideas, and actions.
Let us be open to the opinions and ideas of others without having to rearrange them. Let's give the other's the same RESPECT we want for ourselves.
If we are struggling with respecting another, maybe the problem lies within, time for self-examination. It's a good idea to check in with ourselves when we feel rubbed the wrong way, after all, we can be very sensitive and take things out of content, not always, but sometimes.
People do show up and sometimes perform for our highest good, I call them the messengers of life. Sometimes it is not so much about what they are doing, but how we are reacting.
Our self-worth and self-respect for ourselves can be revealed in our responses and actions.
We must take responsibility for how we are being treated, get away from the blame and shame game.
We must get to know ourselves more in a way that our intentions are for the highest good for ourselves and others: Kindness, openheartedness, and understanding, forgiveness and know that not everything is about us and that we can move on and away from a situation that does not serve us or the other.
Forgiveness for self and others will set us free, it takes away the judging, it just says we are all here working our way back to ourselves.
Bottom line; Believe in yourself, treat yourself with respect and don't take anything personally. Dolby Dharma

"Strike a Pose"

I am PATIENT and have enormous STRENGTH with myself and others. Sometimes it's within the pauses that the greatest revelations come about.
Find your balance when you step outside.
Everything you need to find strength is in the pause, that is where the hidden treasure of a new perspective can be found.
When you refocus, you gather clarity on what matters most at that moment. This helps you remember you have powerful strengths that can be immediately used.
Today is a great day. Go out and play and marvel at your skills!
The Mantra:  I improvise, I adapt, and I overcome. I have found the treasure within.

"I Do"

Image may contain: one or more people
Love this perfect declaration to thine own self-be true. We must pledge to ourselves to be
kinder, more loving, accepting and forgiving. Marriage is one of these core
bonds we do with other people, so often giving ourselves away. That is usually
when all the drama begins, we give ourselves away, then wake-up and what us back.
Today, think about
committing to yourself in a way that you feel whole, independent, rooted in a
healthy relationship with ourselves first and foremost. Self-Marriage is a way
to validate, declare, share, and sanctify self-love. Simply just say, "I
do"! Dolby Dharma

I ME WED
Let's begin by telling a simple truth: You will probably never create a resilient, invigorating bond
with the lush accomplice of your dreams until you master the art of loving
yourself ingeniously. A wedding ritual that joins you to yourself could
catalyze an uncanny shift in your personal mojo that would attract a fresh, hot
consort into your life, or else awaken the sleeping potential of a simmering alliance you have now.

If you're feeling
brave, try speaking the following words aloud:

I am no longer
looking for the perfect partner.

I am my own perfect partner."
Say it even stronger:
I am no longer looking for the perfect partner
to salve all my wounds and fix all my mix-ups
and bridge all my chasms.
I am no longer looking for the perfect partner because I am my own perfect partner."
I pledge to wake myself up, never hold back, have nothing to lose, go all the way, kiss the
stormy sky, be the hero of my own story, ask for everything I need and give
everything I have, take myself to the river when it's time to go to the river,
and take myself to the mountaintop when it's time to go to the mountaintop.
I vow to love myself unconditionally and unconventionally until the end of time and beyond.
            ~Rob Brezsny
The Mantra: I am
strong and grounded in myself.

Self-acceptance or self-love, when approached from a deeper level of our true nature-love, is not superficial or vanity. Self-love is an honoring of our life-force by loving ourselves no matter what flaws, qualities or challenges we may hold within and express without.
We can begin each day with new thoughts, new discoveries, and a new awareness.
When are intentions are for the highest good of self-acceptance and kindness for humanity, everyone benefits!

"It all comes back to you."

"It all comes back to you."
Day Thirty-One of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute Challenge: Trust Yourself
Take your own advice; gurus, counselors, coaches, etc. are all here to guide us when we might be in a quandary.
We are here for each other to be of service. We are fortunate to live in a time where we have so many choices, and so many people who believe in themselves to be of service for us.
I have always been a believer in 'banter' when I have a difficult decision to make, I like to talk it out first with myself, then with someone else.
I love feedback, but I also trust myself to know that it is only a perspective and the final decision is on me. In fact, I always preface that when I ask for advice, I let the other person know that I take full responsibility for my decisions, so fire away your thoughts.
It is great to have many options to run our stories by, but in the end, we have to live with our decision and reap the consequences of our choices. Take everything you hear with a grain of salt; what might sound and be good for someone else is not always your solution, even coming from someone we trust.
Regardless of our choices, life has a way of working out either way no matter which road we choose. If you trust yourself, then you will know that you still have the freedom to make adjustments.
The Mantra: Everything I experience connects me to my greatness.
At the end of this thirty-one-day challenge, it all boils down to YOU.

"Divine Warrior Within"

"Divine Warrior Within"
Day Thirty of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute Challenge: Peaceful Warrior
Where today can you be brave, expand, disciplined, have courage, strength, to know thy truth, and raise your vibration wherever you are?
I believe we are here on a mission of 'self-discovery.'
Where can you embrace an opportunity to bring out the best in a situation that brings out the nobility in you and benefits others at the same time? Where can you master a situation that has eluded you in the past?
The practice is to find clarity, to get to know yourself in a way that you are not hung up on how it is going to look by honoring the true virtue of you!
We do a disservice to others when we do not Honor ourselves when we really needed to 'Warrior-up,' when we chose a path that did not serve anyone because we did not have the courage to speak up or do the right thing for ourselves.
It's time to emerge, time to not be afraid, to be vulnerable and rise up to our deepest challenges and have the courage to be forthright with ourselves which benefits the whole.
Commit to yourself and peel away the layers that keep you small and in a lower vibration. You are a Warrior, you were born to rise, you were born in love, you were born to embrace life compassionately, you were born peacefully. You are fearless and not afraid of your truth. To remain faithful to your heart is to stay true to your spirit.
Let nothing disturb your inner peace, surrender into the depths of your inner strengths. That is where the peace is lying in wait. That is where your unknown gifts are!
Live Unity* Breathe Unity* Feel Unity. We are all warriors in this life together! Dolby Dharma
The Mantra: I AM Fearless. I Surrender. I AM True to myself. I AM a Divine Warrior.

"First Love"

Day Twenty-Nine of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute Challenge: Open to loving YOU
Start with yourself when it comes to love.
Love is the light, the healing balm, the heartbeat of life.
Love is YOU. Take a chance on YOU. Dolby Dharma
I love this wisdom by Charlie Chaplin: written on his 70th Birthday!
As I began to love myself, I found that anguish and emotional suffering are only warning signs that I was living against my own truth. Today, I know, this is AUTHENTICITY.
As I began to love myself, I understood how much it can offend somebody as I try to force my desires on this person, even though I knew the time was not right and the person was not ready for it, and even though this person was me. Today I call it RESPECT.
As I began to love myself, I stopped craving for a different life, and I could see that everything that surrounded me was inviting me to grow. Today I call it MATURITY.
As I began to love myself, I understood that at any circumstance, I am in the right place at the right time, and everything happens at the exactly right moment so I could be calm. Today I call it SELF-CONFIDENCE.
As I began to love myself, I quit steeling my own time, and I stopped designing huge projects for the future. Today, I only do what brings me joy and happiness, things I love to do, and that make my heart cheer, and I do them in my own way and in my own rhythm. Today I call it SIMPLICITY.
As I began to love myself, I freed myself of anything that is no good for my health – food, people, things, situations, and everything the drew me down and away from myself. At first, I called this attitude a healthy egoism. Today I know it is LOVE OF ONESELF.
As I began to love myself, I quit always trying to be right, and ever since I was wrong less of the time. Today I discovered that is MODESTY.
As I began to love myself, I refused to go on living in the past and worry about the future. Now, I only live for the moment, where EVERYTHING is happening. Today I live each day, day by day, and I call it FULFILLMENT.
As I began to love myself, I recognized that my mind can disturb me and it can make me sick. But As I connected it to my heart, my mind became a valuable ally. Today I call this connection WISDOM OF THE HEART.
We no longer need to fear arguments, confrontations or any kind of problems with ourselves or others. Even stars collide, and out of their crashing new worlds are born. Today I know THAT IS LIFE!
The Mantra: With every breath I take, I create more space for enjoying myself.
“Dare to love yourself as if you were a rainbow with gold at both ends.”

"Meaningful Coincidence"

"Meaningful Coincidence"
Day Twenty-Eight of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute Challenge: Synchronicities in life
We have all experienced a synchronistic event in our lives where we are blown away. Some examples are and not limited to these: You are thinking of someone you have not talked to in like forever, and 'BAM' they call. How about those perfect timing events!
Things happen for us just when we need them most, and of course, the 'numbers' thingy (7-11,11.11 etc.), where the same numbers show up repeatedly. Why do we manage to notice that?
I am sure we have all experienced walking into a room where the TV is on and walked in on the same scene again and again on a different day, maybe even months later. I use to ask myself, is this frame in the film trying to give me a message. Who knows but I was always, and still fascinated by that phenomenon.
We are powerful, we just don't always tap into that hidden energy within. Our minds can move energy and the more we are in tune with our inner voice, we can understand the exterior signs easier. We can confirm what we are experiencing. That is the law of attraction, the moment our inner and outer world connects us and shows us what might be a “meaningful coincidence” that needs to be noticed.
Pay attention to events, people, feelings in your life, especially the ones that cause you to pause; know that they play an active role; it is a co-creative event that we have brought to life in the subconscious playing field of our minds. "WHOA," I am in awe and fear of how powerful we are.
Practice being open to Mindful-Time; always waiting for us to wake up and expand our consciousness. With all the distractions in the twenty-first century, we have tuned-out. We rely on our electronics to dictate our lives. Time to take our power back. Dolby Dharma
The Mantra: I engage the flow of life by expanding my awareness.
Synchronicities are a reflection of the deeper, underlying nonlocal field
of consciousness waking up to itself through us. ~ Paul Levy
