"Serving up a dose of deserve"

No automatic alt text available.

Self-acceptance or self-love, when approached from a deeper level of our true nature-love, is not superficial or vanity. Self-love is an honoring of our life-force by loving ourselves no matter what flaws, qualities or challenges we may hold within and express without.
We can begin each day with new thoughts, new discoveries, and a new awareness.
When are intentions are for the highest good of self-acceptance and kindness for humanity, everyone benefits!
We are all unique expressions working our way back to ourselves. How Awesome is that?

Befriending Yourself; Make time for a play date."

"Befriending Yourself; Make time for a play date."

Day Fifteen of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute challenge: Friendship

I invite you to BEfriend yourself, you are wondering how do I do that, or what does that look like! First; everything begins within! There is no question about that. What's on the inside vibes on the outside, that is the law of attraction. Before we can be any kind of friend, we must start with ourselves. We most likely don't even think about ourselves in that light.

Today, just for five minutes’ feel what it's like to be a bit more “Self-ISH” (not selfish) but taking care of your own well-being and not leaving yourself behind so that you can bring to the table the very best YOU. After all, everywhere you go there you are, love that expression.
Being a friend to yourself is the introduction to the beginnings of relationships with others. First, we must approve and accept ourselves before we can share that friendship with another.
Think about how many times you have gone out of your way for a friend to be kind, and leave yourself out. How many times did you sacrifice yourself for another's attention and time without giving yourself that same courtesy? Plenty, I am sure, I know because I have done it.
It is crazy how great we can be to others showing them the BEST parts of our 'Giving Tree', but when it comes to our own needs, that goes on the back burner. Not being friends with ourselves doesn't allow sustainability with others.
Being a good, kind, loving BF is showing YOURSELF that same grace and hospitality that we show our friends. Be kind to yourself, embrace your humanness; Celebrate yourself as a part of a whole family, the likenesses of all those outside ourselves, that we truly are, imperfect, perfect, filled with magic, filled with love to share and wanting to be loved, accepted, appreciated and most important, connected.
Self-friendship is knowing YOU. It’s not only about embracing the less appetizing parts of ourselves, but also engaging a strength that perhaps has gone unnoticed because we might have been looking outside for that part of ourselves. Befriending yourself is about coming into your fullness. If we don’t treat ourselves in a friendly manner, we don’t treat life in a friendly fashion.
I have always believed, "the best way to have a friend is to be a friend to yourself first and foremost."  What you do for yourself, affects your world outside of you, remember to practice random acts of kindness towards yourself! Dolby Dharma

Be good to you!

Be kind to yourself as you are to others. Feelings, like thoughts, come and go. If you can get a handle on the concept that thoughts and feelings 'this too shall pass,' you can begin to practice self-compassion, self-love, and acceptance and not rooting all that as absolute truth.
There is a saying, "If you don't have any money in the bank, there is nothing to withdraw for yourself or to give to another". Life is pretty much that way too. Withholding love from yourself is depletion, and without knowing or feeling goodness for yourself, you cannot give 'heartfelt love' in return to anyone that would be genuine in nature.
Being good to yourself just means treating yourself as well as you'd treat a friend. If you spend all your time being good to everyone else, but don't take the time to pamper yourself or address your own needs, then you will end up unfulfilled.
Being good and kind to others is commendable but if you deprive yourself then nothing else you do will count for much because you will suffer in the long run. Include yourself and make YOU a priority when you perform acts of kindness. Dolby Dharma

Happiness is YOU!

Today most of us will be around people and personalities to celebrate turkey day, for some, it can be a rough day.
Like yourself enough not to get sucked into conversations that are not of the highest vibrations.
Find your sweet spot amongst the celebrations today. Our friends and relatives came to celebrate themselves and us.
Own your inner and outer beauty by complimenting yourself without feeling guilty, arrogant, or entitled. You are a wondrous being of light and love without even trying.
Be grateful for all the people who contribute to your life.
Happy Thanksgiving..<3 Dolby Dharma
