"First Love"

Day Twenty-Nine of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute Challenge: Open to loving YOU
Start with yourself when it comes to love.
Love is the light, the healing balm, the heartbeat of life.
Love is YOU. Take a chance on YOU. Dolby Dharma
I love this wisdom by Charlie Chaplin: written on his 70th Birthday!
As I began to love myself, I found that anguish and emotional suffering are only warning signs that I was living against my own truth. Today, I know, this is AUTHENTICITY.
As I began to love myself, I understood how much it can offend somebody as I try to force my desires on this person, even though I knew the time was not right and the person was not ready for it, and even though this person was me. Today I call it RESPECT.
As I began to love myself, I stopped craving for a different life, and I could see that everything that surrounded me was inviting me to grow. Today I call it MATURITY.
As I began to love myself, I understood that at any circumstance, I am in the right place at the right time, and everything happens at the exactly right moment so I could be calm. Today I call it SELF-CONFIDENCE.
As I began to love myself, I quit steeling my own time, and I stopped designing huge projects for the future. Today, I only do what brings me joy and happiness, things I love to do, and that make my heart cheer, and I do them in my own way and in my own rhythm. Today I call it SIMPLICITY.
As I began to love myself, I freed myself of anything that is no good for my health – food, people, things, situations, and everything the drew me down and away from myself. At first, I called this attitude a healthy egoism. Today I know it is LOVE OF ONESELF.
As I began to love myself, I quit always trying to be right, and ever since I was wrong less of the time. Today I discovered that is MODESTY.
As I began to love myself, I refused to go on living in the past and worry about the future. Now, I only live for the moment, where EVERYTHING is happening. Today I live each day, day by day, and I call it FULFILLMENT.
As I began to love myself, I recognized that my mind can disturb me and it can make me sick. But As I connected it to my heart, my mind became a valuable ally. Today I call this connection WISDOM OF THE HEART.
We no longer need to fear arguments, confrontations or any kind of problems with ourselves or others. Even stars collide, and out of their crashing new worlds are born. Today I know THAT IS LIFE!
The Mantra: With every breath I take, I create more space for enjoying myself.
“Dare to love yourself as if you were a rainbow with gold at both ends.”

"Feelin Alright"

"Feelin Alright"
Day Twenty-Seven of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute Challenge: Self-Awareness
Create a list of at least 10 of your virtues, talents, accomplishments, and the things that make you 'uniquely' you. We all have many attributes that make us distinctive, some we are aware of, and others not so much. Getting to know thyself in a busy world is not an easy task unless we make some time to acknowledge ourselves.
Journaling our features helps us recognize ourselves, and maybe ignite a spark to help us hone in on a quality about ourselves we might not be aware of that we can foster more of.
Creating a daily habit of self-awareness contributes to changing up the way you might feel about yourself in a positive way, and allow for more acceptance when things don't go how you would like them. Unfortunately, that is when we can beat ourselves up, and give up.
Most of all don't be shy about your qualities, you are an amazing being, and self-awareness is where you can discover your dormant treasures.
A real voyage of Self-discovery ahead. Bon Voyage!  Dolby Dharma
The Mantra: “I celebrate my gifts by confidently offering my talents to the world. Sharing with others adds richness and depth to all I do.”

Leap for Joy!

Leap for Joy!
Day Sixteen of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute challenge: Leap of Faith
I invite you today to think about or act upon something in your life that you can just 'Go for it, take a chance on something or someone or just start believing YOU CAN DO IT; whatever IT is?'
What is a leap of faith; it is when we believe in something or someone even though the circumstances are not visible or reachable yet, and maybe they won't appear as we had planned, maybe there is something bigger and better on the horizon for us that we could not imagine yet. Our idea or leap was/is just the fire started to get the energy rollin.
The only thing in life we know for sure is that life is dubiousness. We can’t predict how it’s all going to turn out no matter how calculated we are and some of us are pretty calculating. Thus, it is an excellent idea to roll with the changes, go with the flow and ride the wild ride, and "Why NOT'.
Fear, self-doubt, and uncertainty will endlessly make appearances even long after we took that leap of faith, especially if we are expecting our results immediately or just flat out have that expectation. But the actual magic begins to happen when we 'LET GO' and 'TRUST' that no matter how it turns out, we will be alright.
So many of us are blessed with so many extraordinary and unordinary abilities, it is not about measurable talents that we see, it is about the unforeseen creations that have yet to appear. None of us are meant to live ordinary lives we are extra unordinary humans with infinite potential to create. We are here to let go and plant our seeds to grow.
Take a chance, call someone you've been afraid to talk to, quit your job that you bitch about daily. Speak up and share your wisdom, ask for a raise, you deserve it. Replace fear of the unknown with a sense of desire and wonder for what’s to come. Love yourself more.
The list of fears can go on and on. REO Speedwagon said it in a song; "If you're tired of the same ole story, turn some pages and keep on rollin."
Ultimately, for me, “faith” is synonymous with personal trust and confidence, when I let go of how things look, life works in my favor no matter the outcome.
Happy leaps- Dolby Dharma
The Mantra: When I take a leap, I land safely. I am in love with life.

"I'm up on a tight wire-Holding my heart and head up high."

"I'm up on a tight wire-Holding my heart and head up high."

Day Eleven of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute challenge:  Balance
I invite you today to take five minutes and align your body, mind, and heart; all that this requires is that you step into yourself and feel the whole you.
We naturally carry 'opposite' energies within; masculine and feminine, strength and weaknesses, freedom and fear, love and dislike, and a host more emotional components that make us human, that can throw us out of balance.
How do we know when we are out of balance? We will feel it: It shows up as resistance physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and energetically, we seem out of sorts, and we can't quite figure it out. With all the energies flying around us, it definitely can throw us off and contribute to our imbalances in life.
Balance regime; feel the breath as it enters the body. On an inhalation, feel the fullness as everything expands, on exhalation,  emptying out what no longer serves you. Feel the sensation of the rise and fall of the chest, lungs, and abdomen as your body falls into balance, thank it!
Breathe deeply as you bring together all the sum parts of the whole you into alignment. Hold whatever comes up for you for five minutes, while you breathe in and out, bringing it all together, bringing in what you desire, letting go of what no longer serves you.
Our physical body supports us, but finding the balance with our mind and heart are essential, it has the "SuperPowers" to heal and bring balance into our lives.   Dolby Dharma
Today’s Affirmation: I balance and awaken all parts of myself. I Communicate my feelings openly and ask for what you want.
"Everything changes when you start to emit your own frequency rather than absorbing the frequencies around you when you start imprinting your intent on the universe rather than receiving an imprint from existence."-Barbara Marciniak

"Imagine the unimaginable"

No automatic alt text available.

                                                              "Imagine the unimaginable"
Day Ten  of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute challenge:  Imagination

When I think of imagination, I think of inspiration, and I get excited about the possibilities of my imagination. We all have imagined something in our lives: winning the lottery, the perfect mate, a dream vacation, being in love, etc.

Almost everything we use daily is the direct result of someone’s imagination, thought or idea. People have created possibilities just using their wildest imaginations; the what if we did this in life.
When we start to use our imaginations, it allows us to explore the possibilities and ideas of things that are not in our present lives yet, or perhaps not even real.  Imagination helps us tap into our creative thinking, helps us create and plan, maybe even do some hypothetical reasoning, picturing how it might look, how you will feel, what would you do with it and how excited you would be when it is realized.
We all know everything is energy, and that we are powerful beyond our wildest imagination, so why not put that magic imagination to work. Everything is possible if only we believe in our visions.
Today I invite you to tap into the magic of YOUR imagination. Close your eyes and look within, or take out a pen and paper to write down your wildest visions.
Take 5-minutes and just imagine one new possibility for your life. Your challenge is to dream big, be crazy and let your imagination soar into unexplored territory. What new possibility do you imagine for yourself? Enjoy every moment of this exercise, you hold the magic wand in your mind, use it!
By doing this simple 5-minute exercise, you are doing something remarkably superhuman. You are using the power of your IMAGINATION to bring into reality what you DO want to happen in your life. It has worked for me many times that it scares me to know just how powerful I AM. Dolby Dharma
Today’s Affirmation: I AM the magician, I imagine. Therefore I create new possibilities for my life.
“When a person begins to realize that the new realities he can invent are much larger and more far-reaching than he previously considered, he has dipped his foot in the ocean of magic.”Jon Rappoport

Drop the F-Bomb of Love!

Drop the F-Bomb of Love!

Day Nine of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute challenge: Forgiveness
I invite you to forgive today; take five minutes and think about who it is that needs or wants your forgiveness, or maybe you just need to lighten up and forgive yourself for something you have been heart-harboring.
Why do we get hurt? It is a natural part of being human, at least it seems to be because there is an awful lot of hurt people walking around upset, avoiding parts of their lives, living in angry and not talking to the people they want to talk to.
For me, personally, I expect to be hurt at some point in life, it is unrealistic to think otherwise, unless you lock yourself up in a closet and never interact with anyone. I will most likely hurt someone too.
Bottom line we get hurt, not all the time and not by everyone, but often enough by those we love, not because people are mean and hurtful, but because people are most often victims of their own inner turmoil, and this turmoil just erupts now and again in ways that hurt others and ourselves. There is a crazy old song, titled; The things we do for love, yes, we do plenty including hurting the ones we love.
What is forgiveness; Forgiveness is about YOUR healing. Forgiveness clears the blocks and obstacles so you can attract the miraculous life you want when you give up negative blocks that the UNforgiven energy brings to your life. Forgiveness allows you the freedom to move about the cabin.
To For-give literally, means to give forth and liberate all energies around the unforgiveness that do not contribute to your expansion and highest good. Every moment is the perfect teacher, the lesson; to increase the power of love and forgiveness.
The easiest way to begin the forgiveness process is; using the Ho’oponopono practice, it is an ancient Hawaiian healing powerful prayer that produces miracles in life, give it a practice. This exercise is not for those you hurt but about releasing yourself from the turmoil of what or who hurt you.
The only way someone can hurt you is if you have given your power over to them. I have always told my clients that when you are discussing, complaining, harboring hurts; THEY OR IT OWNS YOU! Take back your power to love!  Dolby Dharma
Today's Affirmation: This one mantra can set you free, more than anything else.
I forgive you  ðŸ’‘ I love you ðŸ’‘I'm sorry ðŸ’‘ Thank YOU!
True forgiveness does not deny the suffering of the past but has a tremendous dignity and courage and power of love in it that says we will, and can, start again. ~Jack Kornfield

Day Seven of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute challenge: Joy

Letting go for five minutes goes a long way, the release has a vibrancy and a life of its own and is waiting for you to tap into that inward smile.

Peaceful Warrior!

Day Six of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute challenge: Peace
Today I invite you to fill your heart with inner-peace, that space where self-acceptance dwells. Life is busy busy busy, and sometimes we forget that all we must do is close our eyes and remember, 'There's no place like home.'
Peace is letting go, living moment to moment. Do not plan the next minute, hour or day for five minutes; feel peace, believe peace and know that peace is the path of acceptance. Your breath will be your guide, just focus on your inhales and exhales and let it all go!
Inner peace is not something to achieve, it is your birthright, you just must access it and know it is within your power to create a few moments of peace that is always available to you.
Ways to help tap into your heart space is to create peace with your hand gestures, feel your heart beating, free your mind and listen to the inner voice of love and acceptance; YOU are enough. Act peacefully, speak peacefully and feel peacefully. Peace comes from making changes within the heart. Peace comes from your intentions.
As we know ourselves more, know we are loved by a divine source, a calmness brews within filling the heart with inner-peace that fuels the body mind and spirit, and you come to this place inside you that you can endure, regardless of what challenges life brings to you.
Peace opens, as you melt into your true nature; that you are whole, perfect and powerful within.
Today’s Affirmation: I hold peace, love, and serenity in my being, I welcome a new way of thinking as I shift my approach within.
“You find peace not by rearranging the circumstances of your life, but by realizing who you are at the deepest level.” ~Eckhart Tolle

Self-Love Challenge!

Self-love 31-day 5-minute challenge; practice these tips each day preferably in the morning. Take notice of your being as you begin your day. Today's challenge; feel that energy as you connect to Mother Earth the infinite source of everything that breathes life to, in and around you, taking inventory of your birthright to be here is all you have to do.
Just open your heart-mind to the divine energy, the life force of all that there is. Then throughout your day keep connecting to Source and notice how grounded you are and how much more energy you feel and how much gratitude you gain within. Heal yourself with mother earth, ask and it is given.
Today’s Affirmation: I connect to my source of infinite energy. I am grounded, I am healed, I am whole. Dolby Dharma
