"It all comes back to you."

"It all comes back to you."
Day Thirty-One of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute Challenge: Trust Yourself
Take your own advice; gurus, counselors, coaches, etc. are all here to guide us when we might be in a quandary.
We are here for each other to be of service. We are fortunate to live in a time where we have so many choices, and so many people who believe in themselves to be of service for us.
I have always been a believer in 'banter' when I have a difficult decision to make, I like to talk it out first with myself, then with someone else.
I love feedback, but I also trust myself to know that it is only a perspective and the final decision is on me. In fact, I always preface that when I ask for advice, I let the other person know that I take full responsibility for my decisions, so fire away your thoughts.
It is great to have many options to run our stories by, but in the end, we have to live with our decision and reap the consequences of our choices. Take everything you hear with a grain of salt; what might sound and be good for someone else is not always your solution, even coming from someone we trust.
Regardless of our choices, life has a way of working out either way no matter which road we choose. If you trust yourself, then you will know that you still have the freedom to make adjustments.
The Mantra: Everything I experience connects me to my greatness.
At the end of this thirty-one-day challenge, it all boils down to YOU.

"Guru Within"

Day Eight of the Self-love 31-day 5-minute challenge: Guidance
I invite you to think about where you receive your answers from.
Align with that deep place in the heart that loves and accepts everything just as it is. The heart doesn't bust out to get answers, it just knows what to do.

Just for five minutes today if you need to find an answer or solution to something just ask yourself, seriously, ask out loud, quiet your mind, ask then listen. While seeking advice and guidance from others can be helpful at times, it is not always the best way to help ourselves.

I have always said, "If you have to ask, you already know the answer."

Your challenge today is this: Trust yourself, trust that your inner advisor, guide, mentor knows what to do. For me, it is a 'feeling' a 'knowing' that already knows, but when I feel the need to ask others, it is the ego and my insecurity that rises. My fear that I will get it wrong that I don't trust myself.

1) Create a Harmonious Forum - Whatever will help to create space that will put you in a calm, quiet, and peaceful mood.

2) Turn Within -Simply close your eyes and turn your attention inward and just breath, focus on the breath, the answers will come.

3) Listen for Wisdom - without judgment, without conclusions, without action, just listen.

4) Let the resolution makes it entrance- Even if the answer doesn't appear immediately, it will eventually happen and most likely not the way you anticipated. Don't force it or guide it along, just let it happen when it happens.

5) Act from the Heart - That is your confidence, your knowing, that is YOU. Just know there is no 'right or wrong,' just 'the way'! There are many truths in life, find yours.

Today’s Affirmation: I march to the beat of my own drum. I self-validate, and I trust my own instincts.  Dolby Dharma

Trust yourself more!

Trust is an emotion that many of us have struggled with at some time in our lives. We have all heard someone or even ourselves say, "I can NEVER trust again."

In love and life, we are given many opportunities to show us our strengths and where we can open more. Trusting is a matter of trusting the self, so often we give ourselves over to people, places, and situations and when it fails to live up to our expectations, we close ourselves off, making it hard to trust again.

Those vulnerable times are perfect opportunities to get to know ourselves more; if we build walls and ways to protect ourselves, so it won't happen again; cheats us out of life, love and unexpected, eye-opening experiences. We miss out on so much and drive ourselves crazy with fears and projections.

Living in fear and not trusting makes us suspicious and doesn't allow for our hearts to open because we feel or project an outcome that is based on fear from a past memory or experience.

Each experience needs to be treated as such; A new experience, a fresh start.

Life will hurt us repeatedly that is the weather of life always changing and challenging us. If we can grasp that idea that life is like unexpected weather we can stand in our truth, go within and find that internal space in our hearts that says, "I know what to do."

Allow your intuitive self to guide you to safety, that is Bodhicitta, our ability to share compassion, kindness; this is the link that connects us all, to trust that life unfolds for our highest evolution.

The daily practice is to not focusing on what external sources say you are or who you are, but 'knowing' who and what you are within. That is the sacred sweet spot, the real freedom.

Trust yourself more!  When somebody says to me, "how will I ever trust him or her," I say, "trust yourself," then you will have your answer.      Dolby Dharma

Letting go and allowing Life's flow!

A long time ago, I almost drowned in a lake while on vaca. I am an excellent swimmer; I practically grew up in the water; pools and beaches were my refuges.

Everyone was on the shore relaxing, and I decided to go for a swim. The undercurrent was apparently quite strong as I drifted far out away from the shore without realizing it until I got tired and looked back.

I realized I was in trouble and started to panic, I yelled for help and attempted to swim back. The more I was going nowhere, the more anxiety and panic set in. No one on the shore could hear me yelling; some even waved to me thinking I was waving back at them, after all, they knew I could swim.

Something came over me like a gentle breeze, a whisper, "let go everything will be alright." At that moment, I totally surrendered, stopped struggling, laid on my back, took deep breaths, relaxed and started to move my arms in a gentle backstroke towards the shore.

It was crazy how fast I ended up back to the shore effortlessly. That was a pivotal moment in my life for real. I swear, the Universal energy had my back, or it wasn't my time.

The only thing that is a constant in life is we are continually met with change and challenges; some we like and other's not so much. The key is to remain open, fluid and to stop struggling against the flow of life.

Surrendering to 'what is,' is a knowing that 'it' will work out. Releasing how it is going to work out is how we enter the energetic shapeshifting streams of life.

Having faith and trusting the process is how we stay connected to life's vibrations and believing the magic of life is on its way to support and serve us for our highest good.

Just for today, let go and trust that you are being led and nurtured into the GREATEST expression of YOU! Be present in your heart, your highest self has your back. Dolby Dharma

“Always say “yes” to the present moment. What could be more futile, more insane, than to create inner resistance to what already is? What could be more insane than to oppose life itself, which is now and always now? Surrender to what is. Say “yes” to life — and see how life suddenly starts working for you rather than against you.”
